20 Photos That Prove You Must Visit Cinque Terre Now!

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre is one of the most magical destinations in Europe, if not the whole world. And for that reason, over the past few years, it’s become one of Italy’s “it” destinations.

But what makes Cinque Terre so special?

Think azure waters, centuries-old colorful buildings, hot sunshine, the freshest of seafood, nutty pesto pastas, rocky coastlines, and lots and lots of gelato.

Can you picture yourself there? Maybe in your bathing suit, with a Ligurian white wine in hand? Of course you can.

I’m not sure you need any more convincing than that; you know that you’ve got to visit Cinque Terre someday. And you’ve probably already scribbled it onto your endless travel to-do list.

But now, you need that extra little push, to get you there sooner than later. Or at least, we think so.

Here are 20 photos that prove you must visit Cinque Terre now!

I have been to Cinque Terre 3 times and will definitely go back again! It is one of the most beautiful places I have seen and still has that old village feeling. I think it retains it’s appeal because there is no way for it to expand, each village being perched on the cliffside lol. Walking from one gorgeous village to the next was just so magical, it’s a great way to experience the beauty while getting some exercise so you have the perfect excuse to have another gelato…..

        Hi Maddy,
I’ve been following you for while on Instagram and thought that in your blogs you would mention the way how you travel around, places you stay over the night and so on … I really do not have time to research things like this and therefore would be great to get info like that as well to just simply follow once tried and tested water ;-)
Having said that I’m not really sure if specific info would not be taken as wanted – unwanted promo !
Thank you for your reply and great pics that get me travel ever single day while sticker at work.
        Best wishes xx

          Hi Zuzana,

          Thanks for your comment!

A full post with information on our time in Cinque Terre is coming soon! We are currently traveling through Europe, and for the past few weeks we’ve been on a river cruise, so our internet connection hasn’t been the best. We will be sharing the logistics of everything we’ve been up to very soon. Thanks for following along. :)

      Ahhh you’ve got to go!
I’ve gained too much weight hahahaha
And it’s sad because right before this trip I was in the gym everyday. Now I’ve been in Europe for over a month and haven’t been to the gym once.
Will be back in the States toward the end of July!
